...want you to show in 'Night of the Witches.'
ian || 9 October 2007
We'd like you to participate in our inaugural Cartridge Group Show on October 31st - a one-night-only, small-scale, affordable photo exhibition. And while we're at it, we're going to throw a party to celebrate Halloween, you, and your wonderful photographs.
Here's how the exhibition is gonna work:
You send us up to 3 jpegs (up to 13x19in, 300dpi). From the set we receive, we're going to select 100 images and print them in monster grids to be plastered on the walls of Shotgun Space for the October 31st exhibition.
The prints will be sold in unlimited Ultrachrome editions in 8x10 and up to 13x19 when applicable, for $25 and $50 apiece. The artists will receive $10 for each 8x10 and $20 for each 13x19 print sold.
For those types interested in themes, Halloween and its associated season, Autumn, are what we're looking for. Having said that, we're not really the types to disqualify anything, so if it's good, send it.
Here's how a Halloween Party/Exhibition works:
You dress up in the best costume you can find and fill the pockets with
money (if your costume doesn't have pockets, we suggest adding them for
storage, or stuffing the hollow plastic sword you'll be carrying). Show up
at Shotgun Space October 31st at 8pm ready to spend money on photos for your
home, play Edward Fortyhands, and dance to things other than Monster Mash.
Send your images to cartridge@shotgunspace.com by Oct. 25th and we'll see you there on Halloween:
